Approaching painting as both spatial and conceptual terrain, she begins with the idea of the Chaosmos —a patterned disorder where boundaries dissolve and multiplicities entangle. Within this volatile climate she repeatedly encounters soft-clad cruelties: pastel surfaces that mask rupture, collapses that flare like first light. Rather than looking away, she positions herself inside these ambivalent currents, tracing how harm and care, resistance and renewal circulate in the same breath.
To embody that tension, she situates painting on the boundary between two- and three-dimensional space. Breaking free of the orthodox rectangle, she carves diverse 'painterly territories' and reassembles the shards they shed, creating seams that cast and drape their own light and shadow. The re-formed surface then cycles through seepage, abrasion and resistance: pigment infiltrates, edges wear, marks push back and knit again. This continuous loop becomes a living score, enacting the material choreography she seeks—painterly gestures and ground co-authoring movement in real time.
Through these movements, accumulated gestures solidify into Rhythmic Landscapes—maps of encounter where an “I” must ceaselessly retune itself to a multitude of “you”s. As these traces thicken, fixed hierarchies loosen, pastel tenderness is edged with rupture, and freedom emerges through the ongoing act of breaking, absorbing and recomposing the luminous debris of the present—an open, resonant field she ultimately names
'
The Second Landscape'.
